Siobhan Benita was a UK senior civil servant from 1996 to 2012. She worked as an advisor in several departments, including: transport, environment, health and local government and also spent several years at the heart of Whitehall with senior roles in the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury. Working closely with the Cabinet Secretary, Siobhan led programmes on civil service reform, leadership development and improving diversity across the service.
In 2013, Siobhan became the co-director of Warwick University’s Policy Lab, which created connections between academics and policy makers to drive improvements in evidence-based decision-making.
Siobhan’s is currently focussed on facilitating the sharing of ideas and good practice amongst civil servants and public sector leaders around the world.
