Peter has 20 years’ experience covering all aspects of Spatial Policy, whether that be planning, housing, transport or other infrastructure. He is extremely comfortable in the planning and transport worlds and can work across both. He is currently specialising in transport policy and electric vehicles and managing a team of skilled officers at Durham.
He has two Masters, one in Town and Country Planning, achieved at Liverpool University 2001 and a second in Transportation – Policy and Practice, achieved at Newcastle University in 2014. He has now completed a level 5 management apprenticeship.
He enjoys working with different people and is part talented policy team at Durham County Council. He enjoys taking on new challenges in and out of work. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a keen triathlete and football fan.
