About this Speaker
In a digital career spanning almost 25 years, Dave has worked with government, media companies, start-ups and is now the CEO of dxw. Since joining dxw in 2015 and becoming MD in 2018, he has led the company through a period of sustained growth from a permanent team of 13 to a team of over 100 situated across the UK. dxw has now cemented its place as one of the leading public sector digital agencies in the UK, and moved to employee-ownership in 2021. Before dxw, Dave was part of the team that founded the Government Digital Service and a product manager on GOV.UK. He has a wealth of experience delivering large transformation projects that involve multiple stakeholders and complex dependencies. He was previously Head of Innovation for Directgov and led the development of central government’s first content APIs, as well as mobile and interactive TV services. In 2001, he was hired as a consultant at the Office of the e-Envoy, the forerunner of GDS, after working with Lineone (now TalkTalk).
